Job Description:

Main Purpose of the Role

 

Lead implementation of sales strategy in assigned geography/channels to meet volume, profit and share objectives via:

 

  • Effective resource management
  • Development and motivation of field forces
  • Management of processes, tools, and practices to ensure maximum productivity

 

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaison with HTT to agree sales area targets and budgets
  • Execute via the sales team agreed outlet coverage and KPI priorities across territories
  • Manage the overall profitability of the region and ensure maximum ROI on spend
  • Monitor, analyse, and report on performance and track KPIs to identify optimum efficiency and develop action plans
  • Ensure an effective and efficient sales operation via implementation of the distribution strategy
  • Communicate regularly with sales teams and keep them informed of future plans, objectives, and targets
  • Build, lead and develop a highly motivated sales force and provide needed advice and recommended practices to maximize sales and productivity
  • Manage sales monitoring process and competitor activity are aligned with business planning/strategy and
  • Build strong internal and external relationships
  • Ensure adherence to trading terms between distributors
  • Recommend tools and processes where appropriate
