Job Description:

Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall MDLZ business in the assigned territory;
  • Deliver Sales Plans, Distribution and Display targets, and Assigned KPIs Targets.
  • Negotiate and implement annual agreement covering discount, display, promotions and annual sales targets for specific Key customers.
  • Effective management of the territory and customers’ network ensuring Objectives are met and targeted ROI on investment
  • Execute channel strategy, and winning POB plans
  • Manage, train and develop sales team to influence Discipline & Sales Automation
  • Conduct weekly & Monthly Meeting to clearly communicate & Track objectives & plans
  • Ensure delivery of aligned execution plans
  • Work closely with other functions build strong infrastructure of Processes and operations (i.e. Finance, CS&L, Systems and HR)
  • Train & coach sales team to follow global standard & to establish MDLZ way of Selling / Management across all functions, and to Assess & Strengthen Operational capability
  • Drive In-Store Best-in-class execution; and ensuring regular field visits.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required

(a)Knowledge including: education, qualifications and training

  • Graduate Degree (Preferably MBA) in BA, Sales, or Marketing;
  • Knowledge of Van Operations in the territory and accounts

(b)Skills

  • Leadership, interpersonal, team building skills
  • Analytical & Planning Skills
  • Highly customer focused.
  • Negotiating and influencing skills
  • Team Player and works effectively with Others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Arabic; and any regional language

(c)Experience

  • 8+ years with proven sales management experience especially in the Direct Distribution Channel, together with a good record of achieving targets history in a similar assignment within the FMCG or food industry.
