Job Description:

Main Job Purpose:

  • To implement quality and cost controls on the company’s internal and external recruitment, as per the defined policies and procedures.
  • To report on Recruitment Operations periodically and upon request.

     

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates across a number of work units within the specified area of work, to ensure efficient work flows and accurate outputs.
  • Manages small to mid-sized projects and initiatives, as may be required by the reporting senior.
  • Reviews all routine and non - routine reports to ensure compliance with statutory and audit requirements.
  • Ensures effective resolution of accounting issues and queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reviews accounting information and provides insights to support management decision - making.
  • Supervises small projects ensuring timely corrective action in case of delayed report delivery.
  • Manages implementation of accounting policies and procedures and standardizes reporting templates to ensure compliance with relevant procedural and legal requirements.
  • Provides feedback for accounting process activities to increase their effectiveness and ensure timeliness and accuracy of accounting records.
  • Liaises with other supervisors to build effective working relationships and identifies synergies.
  • Ensures data collation on the current and past performance of the hedge positions taken by STC.
  • Recruits, develops and supervises the respective team members, if needed, for undertaking higher responsibilities.

Experience

  • 3 - 9 years of experience in the accounting area

Education/ Degree Level(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting

Technical Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in data collection and analysis
  • Intermediate proficiency in financial reporting
