Job Description:

As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Developing, managing and leading an effective Sales Team in the segment of Oil, Gas in (EPC) engineering, procurement and construction.
  • Building solid and long lasting relationships with ABB customers.
  • Identifying opportunities, put together technical and financial justifications to introduce performance based solutions and services for new and the existing customer install base.
  • Understanding of the Process and Automation solution portfolio and be able to offer constructive advice / recommendations as to where our solutions and services would bring value to the customer’s operations/installations with focus on ABB 2020 strategy.
  • Drawing up and implementing Sales and Marketing plans for Industrial Automation Oil & Gas (OGC) clients in the country.
  • Advising and recommending to the customer base for oil & gas related performance solutions. Conducting customer presentations / seminars / business forums as required.
  • Analyzing markets in terms of trends, size and needs.
  • Evaluating customer and competition (SWOT)
  • Capturing green field opportunities (End Users and EPC contractor’s prospects) and champion the populating and driving ServIS database for service business opportunities.
  • Generating evolution/upgrade/retrofit programs for specific customers and working with / advising other service team members on retrofit programs as required.
  • Providing details of the full portfolio of ABB Oil & Gas solutions and products.
  • Leading growth initiatives as per ABB 2020 strategy, including electrification and Terminal Management System (TMS)
  • Penetrating and expand in Saudi Aramco, SABIC and private Petrochemicals.
  • Identifying sales and service opportunities for other products from ABB.
  • Retaining and developing service contracts in the country.
  • Bringing information to bid support group for customer proposals.
  • Promoting training services to the customers and send the feedback to the Training Department.
  • Working closely with other Sales Engineers and Account Managers to identify service sales / training opportunities.
  • Preparing sales account plan for each identified key customer.
  • Leading and participating in capture teams of major opportunities.

Job Requirements:

Requirements

Ideally you'll hold a Bachelor's Degree or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, with Sales/Marketing qualification is an advantage.

You must have minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas environment, with sales experience,

and previous knowledge of performance based solutions / services / products, either from a user or vendor perspective.
