As a Brand Marketing Manager, your job purpose is:

Drive in-market performance on potato chips brand extensions (Better for you, Playful, Premium) by ensuring flawless activation of all brand related programs and innovation launches as well as full ownership of commercial agenda to deliver volume, share, net revenue and key brand key performance indicators.

As a Brand Marketing Manager, you will be accountable to:

  • Lead and project manage all commercial unit marketing and innovation initiatives for potato chips.
  • Support developing "Activate" annual operating plan for a specific Brand for the Commercial Unit:
  • Develop, Commercializing and adapting annual operating plan to suit the specific market needs of the brand and the commercial unit.
  • Focus on driving the commercial objectives of the brand and commercial unit, within the "Develop" annual operating plan
  • Present and aligns "Activation Marketing Manager / Director"
  • Support all "Market Specific / Activate" plans of a specific brand for a specific Commercial Unit:
  • Lead on all aspects for "Activate" plans from development to in-market execution
  • Align "Activate Marketing Manager / Director" on plans
  • Adapt / in-market executing of "Develop" rolled-out innovations/ plans/campaigns for specific brand:
  • Commercializes / develops in-market adaptation of all rolled-out Development plans/campaigns to win in the market place
  • Lead driving brand Economics / profit and loss (P&L):
  • Ensure that all brands' economics for existing business is in-line with Commercial Unit business objectives
  • Manage new innovations with financial planning team to ensure all launches are in-line with Commercial Unit's profitability direction
  • Lead on brand specific productivity projects to meet overall company's profit and loss targets
  • Lead Brand / Innovations capital expenditure (Capex) Requirements:
  • Responsible for leading the commercial aspect of any brand capital expenditure investments requirements
  • Lead on performance monitoring:
  • Responsible for periodically reviewing "brand" performance key performance indicator's via the various tools available, to identify possible issues and develop plans/tactics to address them.
  • Full ownership of Brand advertisement and marketing Budgets:
  • Responsible for liaising and aligning with finance control team
  • Ensuring no over spending occurs on any of the projects and on overall brand budget
  • Drives insight & Research and Development (R&D) agenda for category:
  • Coordinate with R&D/insights team to create & commercialize brand plans / innovations which includes briefing on required projects, analyzing the outcome, and recommending the way forward to management

Job Requirements:

  • BA Degree Business Administration/Marketing/IMC/economics or equivalent from a reputable university
  • 3-5 year experience in Marketing
  • Strong analytical skills - ability to interpret complex data and distil into useful and actionable information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate and negotiate effectively across all levels and all functions of the organization.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to communicate with Global Groups/Teams, Senior Management, Suppliers, Agencies, etc…
  • Excellent leadership skills to be able to lead agencies, suppliers, and cross functional teams
  • Excellent project management skills covering product & process development within Fast Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) environment (including ability to succinctly define project aims, work to a defined timeline, communicate project progress to stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
