As a Revenue Governance Manager, your main purposes are:

  • Drive annual operating plan for revenue "realization" through securing that Net Revenue KPIs (Key performance indicators) are achieved in line w strategic goals.
  • Drive profitable revenue growth in collaboration with sales teams.
  • Own promotional and discounts and allowances operations process (Return of investment (ROI), budget, competitive monitoring, approvals, tactical proposals etc.).
  • Provide clear explanations of reasons for variances and an opinion on why they have arisen.
  • Ensure high quality decision support and accurate net revenue reporting.
  • Support the development of pricing tactics that deliver strong return of investment, with tight budgetary discipline, flawless price operations and timely accurate periodic reporting.
  • Report, plan and govern Trade spend for the channels and their sub channels in partnership with Sales Teams.
  • Own daily monthly tactical consumer value andor trade margin activity planning, approval and governance.
  • Provide Discounts and allowances input for the channels in the scope of responsibility for monthly forecast, annual operating plan and strategic business plan
  • Partner with sales teams in planning smart tactics to support delivery of monthly revenue target.
  • Prepare design tactics to hit monthly focus targets.
  • Be the "go to" person for channel specific revenue planning and realization issues and queries.
  • Take "next level up" accountability for ensuring price modules are recorded in the system on time and correctly.
  • Co-own packbrandchannel mix responsibility with the Sales Teams.
  • Provide analytical input to revenue management council decks.
  • Safeguard healthy inter channel balance.
  • Lead at least 2 critical revenue management systemprocess improvement projects relevant to the channels.
  • Ensure timely, accurate performance reporting in line with RM Policy.
  • Own on premise account gain approval process.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams and revenue management strategy function in defining and designing dealing guiderails (Discounts and allowances Process).
  • Own monthly quarterly organized trade promotional planning process.
  • Collaborate with Sales Teams and revenue management strategy function in defining and designing dealing guiderails (organized Trade Spend).
  • Perform return of investment and effectiveness studies on different lines of Trade and Promo Spend.

As a Revenue Governance Manager, Your measures of success are -

  • Net revenue and discounts and allowances targets achieved.
  • Flow through Net revenue growing faster than gross revenue.
  • Discounts and allowances rationalized vs. previous spend.
  • Mix targets adhered and executed flawlessly.
  • Pricing councils take place timely and with all proper analysis and reports.
  • 100% rate of compliance on trade spends authorizations against commercial policy, with exceptions managed through due process.

Job Requirements:

* Good analytical skills

 

* Proficient in computer usage. Microsoft Office suite
* SAP Experience is a Plus

* Excellent communication skills
* Reasonable knowledge of financial policies and procedures
