Business Development Manager

 

For our growing Lighting Business we are currently looking for an outstanding candidate for the position of Business Development Manager

 

On this position you will be responsible for driving business growth in Public Segment. You will generate customer insights and analyze market trends to effectively shape compelling value propositions for Customers based on Philips global innovations. You will execute Lead Generation programs in the market supporting sales funnel creation. You will be responsible for driving strategic partnerships in Smart City architectures.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Create and drive deployment of the segment strategy across Saudi Arabia
  • Ensure business growth bringing to the market Philips Lighting global innovations in technology and new business models
  • Secure a planned and structured customer approach addressing key stakeholders
  • Plan and effectively execute lead generation activities
  • Orchestrate Strategic Alliances with Philips Lighting external technology partners
  • Secure Philips Lighting position as the preferred partner and top of mind choice for customers
  • Enables long term profitable growth through the development and execution of propositions, which are solution- and/or system based aligned with Global segment plans and roadmaps

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing/Sales or a related discipline. Masters’ degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in sales & marketing with knowledge of lighting applications and/or controls is a plus
  • Strong experience in any combination of technology marketing, end-user segment marketing or channel marketing.
  • Marketing/business development/ consultancy experience in an IoT/Internet of Things product environment is a plus.
  • Confirmed success in market/customer facing marketing involving different go-to-market models
  • Experience in offering the right value proposition for the customer addressing the main pain point and ensuring maximum business impact.
  • Experience in managing pull marketing campaigns with strong focus on lead generation and promotional activity.
  • Excellent communication in Arabic & English and ability to engage well with employees at all levels of the organization
