Job Description:

The Opportunity

The Business Excellence Manager will be responsible for quantifying the intrinsic value of current operating systems and processes including SAP. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of a support system to qualifying future applications systems investment that will realise key strategic and operational goals within Almarai. This will deliver greater operational efficiency and improve service delivery within our shared services model through time and cost savings.

Job Requirements:

Essential Requirements 

  • At least 8-10 years experience operating in a result focused commercial organization with at least 5 years within a food or beverage manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of designing and implementing appropriate systems, models and procedures to facilitate the execution of appropriate internal controls to achieve business objectives. 
  • Experience in leading the review and redesign of business processes by cross functional teams to meet the continuous improvement objectives of the business and to ensure the organisation has the capability to meet current and future business challenges. 
  • Extensive experience in the provision of accurate and timely management information and sound commercial evaluation of business performance which offers visibility of the physical and financial parameters affecting commercial business outcomes and which aid decision making at all levels of management. 
  • Experience of reviewing and assessing commercial performance and offering insight and guidance as to how performance can be improved through identification of new opportunities and elimination of weaknesses. 
  • Experience in implementing and proposing amendments to policies, procedures and standards 
  • Experience in Business Process Review projects to establish best working practices 
  • Experience of interacting and influencing decision making at the most senior management levels 
  • Experience of conflict management and negotiation at senior Management level 
  • Experience in the identification, sourcing and development of staffing requirements
The ideal candidate will have lean and six sigma certifications.
